Often the ideas do not match the building plot. You have to be flexible. It's just hard to say goodbye to your dreams.

I don't think a semi-detached house is a crutch. It can be nicely designed.

It's only a crutch if you try to force unrealistic expectations onto a semi-detached house.

I also think it's okay, a semi-detached house. And honestly: since most people build their single-family house anyway with the garage on the boundary, they can't walk around their little house either.

Walking around it is nice, but what is actually off-putting is rather the proximity of the neighbor.
