Draw the house on the survey plan, with which tool?

Pencil, set square, and a calculator to convert the measurements if the printout is not to scale.

If you already have a .dwg, then use LibreCad, FreeCad, QCad or similar. That allows you to draw it perfectly to scale.

I would (from my own experience) approach the whole thing right away with an "architect software." I use "cadvilla" here, which is a layman architect software but delivers quite good results. I also started with the DWG plan and copied it in. I even roughly represented the neighboring houses, street, sidewalk. Contour lines/elevation points. You import furniture from 3dwarehouse. For example, I also imported my own models from FreeCAD. Or I did electrical planning in it. If you enjoy completely remodelling your house, then I can only recommend this approach.

Super thanks, I used QCad to display the measurements and then switched to graph paper and pencil. It worked well :-)
