Where does it say that you may only start one topic per person without referencing a similar topic? The first thread is done, finished, and over. This is a new thread with a new draft, new environment, new aspects and topics.
It is the same topic with a different draft, even after a four-month break. Patronizing the other discussants about whether they find the crossposting notice helpful remains "not nice," no matter how you twist and turn it. A small internal link at the end of the supposed opening post costs you nothing, and everyone who doesn’t want to follow it can ignore it, but at least they had the opportunity.If I don’t want to pick up a topic from 4 months ago because it makes no sense, that doesn’t mean everyone here is stupid...
