Good morning,
I had already read through several threads on the topic, but every case is somewhat different. As the headline says, I want to install a 1.8m fence with privacy screening on L-bricks. For this, I ordered various brackets (L-shape with 12.5mm elongated hole) that are actually made exactly for this purpose. Now, due to the other threads, I am somewhat concerned about the wind load. The plan was actually to fasten the brackets with 10mm heavy-duty anchors and additionally glue them in. Our L-bricks are 12cm thick and have been concreted in. I assume they should withstand that. Based on what I have read now, I would use 12mm heavy-duty anchors. In addition, I would use two rows of a slightly wind-permeable privacy screen. Is the project still too risky or feasible? The fence is not only to be fastened on the L-bricks but also extends a bit further. Would it help if instead of setting a post every 2.5m, I set one every 1.25m and cut the panels?
Attached is a picture of the situation.
Thank you very much.
