I implemented it the way you wanted. I built a 9x6m carport, of which 6*3.5m is developed as a storage room, leaving about 5.5*6m for the vehicles. Also built on the property boundary and directly attached to the house. I don't see anything against that. We also have 2 doors (one facing the driveway and the other facing the garden) and two small windows. I did the entire construction myself using laminated timber trusses and the storage room with facade profile boards. The roof is tongue-and-groove boards with bitumen sheets. Overall, the materials cost me around 5000 including everything.

A friend who is a structural engineer calculated the structural analysis for me.
