Door installation (garage) before or after plastering?

I just spoke with the site manager, who asked whether we could now install the door or at least the frame of the garage door on the back side over the weekend. Huh? That thing hasn’t even been ordered yet. I have always assumed that it could be done at the end since it’s currently not very relevant.

Can something not be plastered if the frame isn’t in yet? First, I probably won’t manage to do it over the weekend, and second, I don’t want it to get smeared or damaged. Or does the plasterer then have more work?

What kind of door is it supposed to be?

Plastic door 101x201 on the back of the garage. So basically a side entrance door.

The side entrance doors will certainly be installed in the door opening. and then it would be better for plastering. If the plasterer has to start again because of additional plastering work, it costs money.

But don’t I just put the door into the door frame and screw the frame inside on each side? Where exactly does the plasterer have to work again? I don’t quite understand.

Oh, I see. You must be referring to the area that needs to be filled with [Bauschaum] or something like that. Hmm... well, let's see what the site manager says when I tell him that the door won't be delivered for a few weeks.
