Hello Would be interested to know if any of you have an Ikea induction hob and how satisfied he/she is with it? especially for the cheaper models Folklig and TYDLIG I would be very interested in experience reports. Thank you in advance Best regards Section Chief

Hello!

We have the big field from IKEA! Never again without induction! It's a completely different way of cooking, simply brilliant!

Before induction cooking, I think it was just warming up by the campfire in the cave!

Thank you, fotokatze

Then you probably have the Högvärdig, right?
How satisfied are you with it, I mean, it’s clear that cooking with induction is generally better than with conventional ceramic hobs, but how is your cooktop regarding the operation and functions?
How durable is it and how well does the boost function work, etc.?
Best regards

morning boss,

I've had the FOLKLIG in operation for almost 14 days now and for the price simply unbeatable. The boost function is certainly better than some kettles. I haven't found any scratches or anything like that yet. You just have to make sure that the pots are clean on the bottom and the cooktop is clean so that nothing gets scratched. Operation is okay, of course not as comfortable as with neff with the rotary knob but it's also three times as cheap. You get used to it and you don’t really fiddle with it much anyway.

best regards sandra

Thank you Sandra! I also had the FOLKLIG in mind. I found one from Gorenje at the same price, but at Ikea you also have the 5-year warranty. Best regards Head of Section

Think carefully about which control is right for you. It would annoy me if I had to beep beep beep through the +/- buttons to change the cooking level. That’s why I chose a cooktop with a slider, so I can directly select any level.
