Together is good! But here I only read from the original poster that she wants to remodel the entire room for the poor daughter. No background or wishes from the daughter herself. So far, I get the impression "Daughter calls, parents jump."
That's why my post.

P.S. I have three daughters myself between 7 and 12 – so I know the topic.

I meant bottom edge of the bed = top edge of the window sash. If the roller shutter box is in the way, you can also move the bed about 50 cm towards the door and then stretch a safety net between the bed and the outside wall, something like that, just horizontal There should be more than 100 cm of height left. And you use a bed horizontally, not vertically. That's enough! As a student, I had a loft bed with 90 cm (in an apartment temporarily even only 70 cm) of usable height for over four years and that was really OK. Even a bunk bed rarely has more than 80 cm of usable height below!

Once again, I want to sincerely thank you for your commitment! I really appreciate it!

Don’t ask me why, but our daughter is afraid that someone could be hiding in the dark corner (Drempel)… This cannot be explained with reason, but that’s how it is. Fears usually cannot be explained with logic or reason… They are just individual! She also hasn’t had any bad experiences…but these fears are still present for now. I have spoken with her again, and she would agree to sleep under the slant if the dark corner disappeared… For example, through a closed shelf in the Drempel. But only if no one can hide in or behind it.

Our daughter is turning nine now… And I think it’s important to respond to her needs or fears so that she feels comfortable in her room. After all, it’s her room!

The shown solution is great.

The child in this bed proves this statement wrong - still, there is more than enough space

Oh yes: one more thing: I asked for help here because I lack imagination and expertise! It is not about fulfilling all my daughter's wishes! I want to make the best out of the small room and that's why I was hoping for your ideas and expertise! Of course not at any cost!

From the previous contributions, my next consideration would be: loft bed, knee wall including shelves with and without doors, heating stays where it is.
