Distances to the property boundary

In general, the rule is that the distances to the property boundary must be observed.

What I know is the following:
- House - prescribed distance in Rhineland-Palatinate 3 m to the property boundary
- Garage / carport - prescribed distance to the neighbors' property boundary 0 or 10 cm and to the street 1 m (if I remember correctly)

However, what should be considered regarding the following points:

Terrace - does the 3 m distance to the property boundary also apply to a terrace at a house?
Terrace/balcony on a garage/carport roof - should 3 m be maintained here or can the garage/carport with terrace also be placed right on the property boundary?

I understand that such questions are best submitted to the building authority. However, I am grateful for a non-binding statement at this point.

After I sent it, I had to realize how stupidly one (I) was acting again. So I immediately picked up the phone. But so that you haven’t read in vain, here are the results briefly:

Building to property boundary - as usual 3 m
Garage/carport to property boundary - 0 cm possible
Garage/carport with driveway side facing the street - this is included in the development plan (which, as I just learned, was subsequently amended for this) 5 m to the street

Terrace on garages/carports - the neighborhood law for terraces applies here - maintain 3 m distance
