Did you buy your kitchen at Ikea?

We bought a kitchen there in 2000 or 2001, probably for 11,000 DM at the time. The service at Ikea was great, the assembly (done by Ikea, no idea if they still offer that) went smoothly. We were definitely satisfied because except for the DrehKarussell, everything still works. I don’t really know what’s wrong with the Karussell either, it must have bent a bit over time. The stove broke during the warranty period but was replaced. It was just a bit of a hassle with all the phone calls for the warranty claim.

What is great is that with Ikea kitchens you can simply change the fronts without replacing the corpus. This saves a lot of money, for example if the front gets damaged during a move.

Can someone recommend other kitchens that have a similar style? They should also be in the same price range. But our choice will probably really be the Ikea kitchens.

We have a Vorwerk kitchen, which is of course great. However, it might not be quite in the same price range.
