Designing the terrace - Layout

I wouldn't plan anything at all. You can rearrange the furniture. Then you put the dining table where it feels comfortable and flows with the kitchen. Lie there where you want them. If it doesn't fit, rearrange. It all comes by itself when you live in it

yes, you're right I just thought I'd plan now since we could still change the size of the terrace. Do I have furniture space at a width of 2.5 meters or at a width of 2 meters?

The best thing is to make furniture templates for yourself, as if you were planning a floor plan. Two and a half meters isn’t much, but for a balcony, that’s already quite a lot. I would just be afraid that you plan something and then it becomes drafty and the whole planning is for nothing.

You often wonder about yourself that you plan a sunny spot but then prefer to sit in the shade because the sun is too intense. Basically: the lower, the better.

Thoughts:
-The connection between kitchen/living, this corridor will probably be sunlit the longest.
-I would put the grill by the kitchen
- also a small seating area there (2 seats, coffee corner, sundowner)
- Family/guest area/seating area in the larger space, there privacy protection by grasses.
