Design question - Vinyl flooring and baseboard in the bathroom

Hello everyone,

we recently chose the vinyl flooring for our bathroom. Now I have heard that in damp rooms you should not do without the baseboard if there is a gap between the wall and the floor. Understandable.

But the baseboard will surely be cut from the tiles (wall tile). Since we are not tiling all the walls, I wonder what it looks like when a concrete gray baseboard meets a medium oak tone and above it the white wall shines.

Does that look good? Has anyone perhaps done something similar and could provide a photo?

maybe I am old-fashioned, but in my understanding the baseboard is cut from the floor tiles or adapted to the flooring. So just like with parquet or laminate, or how did you solve the "problem" in the living room?

Where there are no wall tiles, baseboards are cut from the floor tiles.

I would take a continuous white strip, no tiles.

Like willo. Baseboards in floor decor are IMO out. Neutral white. Everywhere.

We don't have floor tiles in the bathroom. In the other rooms, we have neutral white wooden baseboards. Can a baseboard be "cut" from vinyl? A wooden baseboard is probably unsuitable for wet rooms.
