He then surely has impact sound insulation integrated? Ours has 4.3 mm plus 5 mm impact sound insulation (separate).

Is it made of plastic and flexible? How does that work? What is the exact structure? Is it only supposed to be clipped on? And in which rooms is it supposed to be laid?

No, we were with the floor fitter from the general contractor, he gave us a quote of 7.5k for Tarkett vinyl including installation just for the ground floor..

We were in a hardware store with a very large flooring exhibition, there was a specialist salesperson from a well-known laminate brand.. He basically advised against everything, including the floor of his own employer, and referred us to tiles. But we definitely do not want those!

Yes, that could of course be, I didn't ask about the impact sound insulation anymore.. I had noted the rest.. I could ask again about that.

No, it is not flexible. We had seen vinyl floors where you could bend the planks. This one is solid, so you can't bend it or anything!

It is a click design floor. It is supposed to be laid everywhere except the bathroom, guest WC, utility room and HAR.

Funny guy. I thought they are also paid at least partly on a commission basis. Maybe he has two contracts running here? The price is really not bad for a general contractor floor layer. If you like the looks, that's good.

If you have "fallen in love" with this floor: Congratulations.

Most vinyl floors are probably flexible, and so is ours.

For us, this was a clear pro argument, as we lay it ourselves and wanted to avoid the annoying sawing.
Nevertheless, the floor is heavier than laminate.
This makes the foot feeling more stable and solid, and the floor handles slight (!!) unevenness well without rattling or creaking.

We initially wanted to buy the Parador Modular One with integrated impact sound insulation.
However, this was ruled out due to the necessity of sawing.

And laying impact sound insulation is only a minimal fraction of the whole job ;)
