Hi,

our shower is about 1 year old and I have now noticed mold spots in one compartment. I also noticed that unfortunately the compartment has no slope, meaning the water stays in this compartment.

There is also mold in the acrylic further down:

With our shower channel, I noticed that the paint is peeling off or was damaged by something. The shower is cleaned every 2 weeks with Antikal and normal water, did we do something wrong or is it the fault of our builder?

Thank you very much in advance.
Fred

About the mold: The developer is not responsible for that. After showering, you should wipe dry and ventilate well. How is ventilation done? Is controlled residential ventilation available? I cannot say anything about the gutter. You should find out how it is allowed to be cleaned.

Mold as mentioned, ventilate and wipe. We always do that. As for the channel, it looks like lime. Do you have hard water? It looks similar to ours.

Silicone mold if moisture remains, no one is to blame for that. Controlled residential ventilation available?
