Then you had a pretty cheap operation. Here, the drywall installer alone wanted 600 EUR gross for the 75m² ceiling area on the upper floor from Q2 to Q3. Of course, it looks fantastic for that; it's an absolutely smooth surface. Painted twice by myself, done. I didn't even ask the plasterer what all the walls would cost to do in Q3... I estimate that alone would have come to 5-7,000 EUR, at least that was the case with the neighbors who had everything done by a painter. I heard sums up to 25,000 EUR there. Now it is sanded and partially re-spackled Q2 plaster, primed and painted once. The moments when I thought "Man, that really doesn't look so great in the light now," I can count on one hand. It's like with a car. The first scratch still annoys you, then it doesn't matter. When the kids are bigger and not constantly grabbing the walls anymore, I will spackle, sand, and paint the "most critical" walls again. And I also know some who have glued Raufaser wallpaper in new buildings. Because they don't have the money for Q3 and smooth fleece wallpaper, and the issue is completely overrated anyway. No one looks at their walls for hours in everyday life. Mold? Mold also occurs on plastered walls if you don't ventilate properly. Then just not on the wallpaper but on the backs of the furniture. Which is much worse because then you can throw those away.
