Criticism of single-family house floor plan desired

I am planning a single-family house with my girlfriend.

I am not yet sure if I should leave it that way.

My wife would freak out if the house size isn’t even enough for a bathtub ;-)

But it looks quite reasonable.

the following points stand out to me in the floor plan:
- I consider a "space-saving staircase" suboptimal for the size of the house. I wouldn't voluntarily choose that.
- Bathtub (as already agreed)
- Shower: How is that planned? Slanted partitions? Takes up a lot of space.
- Bedroom + dressing room is relatively large compared to the children's rooms.
- The path from the garage to the kitchen is relatively long.
- I would see if it makes sense to swap the living room and kitchen. Kitchen in the south, living room in the north is not optimal in my opinion.

I would freak out if I saw that there is only one closet in the dressing room. Ok, you could use the slope for a rod, but that would then be roughly 2 meters wide, so dressers would probably have a hard time. That would definitely be worth revising for me!

Also the missing bathtub! :)

Sofa under/in front of the windows is also not so great... I personally would plan the south side for windows in the dining/living area, so different room allocations (as Trudchen so nicely says: "Toilet on the south side, do they want to roast?") That would fit with the storage here – then you wouldn’t need a stove anymore :D

rarely take baths, are more the showerers.......

The pantry is too narrow and unusable. You can't properly fit a shelf in there and still be able to move around.
