That is precisely the question I cannot answer. The worst-case scenario would be: the bank in question has the information about the illness and subsequently refuses any kind of credit and also places a corresponding note in a database accessible by other banks, and we no longer receive any credit. This is more speculative, I don’t know if it actually works that way. I think I’ve heard something like that (similar to insurance).

Health data are particularly sensitive personal data according to the GDPR. These data will certainly not be made available to third parties in a central database!
