Well, quite a lot is possible – you just first need the building inspection – for example with a temporary structure – and then you have free rein.

Sure, you don't have to stick to the DIN. However, it certainly has its justification, especially for safety-relevant parts like railings. The glass railings that are attached to such a mini support rail (by the way, I don't see any in the picture at all) can withstand very little pressure. I don't want to lean against them with my full weight or even with a bit of momentum. I have spent a long time dealing with railings and unfortunately had to realize that at least 50% of the things shown on the internet do not work, are photoshopped, or are simply way too expensive...

...because special stairs also require a special design to comply with all craft rules.

Hi, I was finally able to measure yesterday. The 1st step is 18.5 cm high, all further ones 19.7 cm. That means you would actually have to use a covering of about 1cm (+adhesive), right?

That means you have 45mm wearing layer thickness with the wood or 40mm and 5mm adhesive? We are currently also considering a corresponding construction. Substructure as precast concrete or cast-in-place concrete?

Could you possibly post a picture of it? Thank you very much!
