Hello everyone,
I am considering the driveway to the garage as well as the access to the house with the option of paving, asphalt, or concrete.
What are the advantages and disadvantages:
- Price (material, labor...)
- Wastewater charges
Thank you very much for your help

You can only save on wastewater fees with eco-paving; everything else seals the surface. If you want exact cost clarity, you need quotes. I think concrete is the cheapest. But it also has to fit into the garden design. For example, the topic of grass grid stones, meaning a greened driveway.

The biggest disadvantage of asphalt and concrete is the ugly appearance and the sealing of the surface.

...But I still find concrete somehow interesting.

In many municipalities, concrete or asphalt is not allowed even with infiltration or is a difficult battle. Get the regulations from the municipality. We have also been working on the topic for some time. There is also porous asphalt or a new version is coming to the market. I hope to learn more in the next few weeks. The manufacturer gave me a price indication at the beginning of the year. Significantly more expensive than asphalt and of course than paving.

Thank you for the notes. I just looked at the development plan: Parking spaces, courtyard areas, house entrances, garage forecourts, terraces, and footpaths must be designed so that rainwater can infiltrate. It is therefore recommended to construct the mentioned areas from grass pavers, grass paving, gravel lawn, permeable paving, or similar.
