Costs for prefabricated garage within budget?

Hello everyone,

we are planning to build a semi-detached house in 6-9 months and are currently in the initial planning discussions.
The construction company offered us to include the erection of a prefabricated garage directly in the contract.

Key data:
3x9m (3x6 garage plus 3x3 storage room)
Colored, electric sectional door
Foundation incl.
Cost approx. €14,000

My question now is whether this is a reasonable price or if there are good savings to be had by awarding the contract separately.
And did it go smoothly for you to have the garage installed by a third-party company? Did you have it done during or at the very end of the construction phase?

that is affordable. For us, it was a months-long search until we found someone who could do three strip foundations for the garage cheaply. Two companies each wanted 6000 euros for it.

It makes sense for a trade that is already on site to handle this. For such a small job, no one will come or it will be correspondingly expensive. Why didn’t you also award it to the structural builder?
