We have planned a similar scale of windows. Referring solely to the fixed glazing, I would also estimate around €50k. There are two influencing factors here, firstly the frame material. Furthermore, you will find it difficult to achieve a Uw value of <0.7 (if at all, probably only through higher financial expenditure). Ug is certainly not a problem, but for the entire window, that is quite ambitious. However, I am happy to be proven wrong here.

I am not sure whether I have completely wrong ideas or if I expressed myself incorrectly.

I don’t need full glazing (even though that would be nice, probably beyond our financial means). What I had imagined is 1 window 3x3m or similar, then a short piece of wall 20-50cm, then another window, etc.

To roughly see where I stand, I simply used an online configurator. For plastic windows, with a Ug value of 0.6 and a window size of 3x2.4m, I come to €1284. Do I have a major misconception here somewhere?
