Cost of a central air conditioning system in new construction

does anyone have experience with installing a central air conditioning system?

I am planning to install a central air conditioning system for 5 rooms in a new building: 4 units on the upper floor (1 per room - 72 sqm) and one on the ground floor (living room with semi-open kitchen - also 72 sqm). The construction company estimated the costs at 30-35K EUR.

My question is whether this amount is reasonable. The construction company I am working with is not the cheapest, but 35,000 EUR sounds quite steep.

Yes, you do that with a multisplit. Then you have one outdoor unit and the necessary number of indoor units.

What you possibly mean are singlesplits. Then you have one outdoor unit per indoor unit.

I have an offer for 4 rooms on 2 floors, multisplit, but the indoor units are discreetly hidden in the walls, which makes it a bit more expensive. Total price approx. 16,000 EUR.
