Cost of a central air conditioning system in new construction

The calculation for the companies applies to 35 to 18 degrees at full sunlight,
there are high outputs and the devices are expensive.
If you are the 35 to 18 degrees users on vacation, it will be expensive.
If you are the users on the lowest setting,
the system can be smaller and cheaper.

I also consider the price to be excessively overpriced, regardless of which heat load you calculate. (For better classification, a concrete list of the devices would be interesting, but it apparently does not exist yet.) My advice: Contact one of these nationwide climate specialists, then you will know roughly where the journey should go. In my case, it was indeed higher than the local installer’s offer (with the same devices), but in your case, it would be estimated to be at most half of the stated costs.

Apart from that, of course, you plan an air conditioning system, as already mentioned above, including possible shading.

Is it central for you as well, or multisplit?

For me, it is about a central system, where the construction company has to form the air ducts during the construction phase.

I will ask the construction company to calculate the offer – then I will see how much the installation of ducts and how much the devices cost and then post it here.

So far, I have been told that it is not the devices but the construction work for the air ducts and condensate drainage that is expensive.

I have an offer for 4 rooms on 2 floors, multisplit, but the indoor units are discreetly hidden in the walls, which makes it a bit more expensive. Total price approx. 16,000 EUR.

And where and how many outdoor units do you have?

Was it installed during construction or afterwards?

This week the installation is taking place with us, we have been living in the house for 2 years, local air conditioning company, multi-split, 1 outdoor unit 6KW, 1 indoor unit 2.5 KW (bedroom), 1 indoor unit 3.5 KW (all-room 55m2), all in with installation just under 6 T€
