That is, of course, the preferred option; often something individual can be created with a bit of imagination and little effort, which a landscape gardener can only make expensively and usually less beautifully/originally. My idea was therefore only for if it absolutely HAS to be removed. On our property, nothing that has been there for a long time is removed; it is integrated into the garden design.

Alone the possibilities for old trees that don't hang on steep slopes like mine. Seating areas, swings, treehouse, hammocks, slackline. A friend simply hung round slings in for the children. Additionally, the yield from the fruit. Every plant that has survived 20 years without care is robust and later also requires hardly any work. The wild blackberries should be removed, but the old lilac is worth keeping.

Old trees in the north and on the edge I like to leave standing. However, I also want to have a lawn.

So, the overgrown garden?!
I would post that under garden landscapers on MyHammer and then compare. There are too many regional differences.

But I would also first see if I want to keep anything: it takes 10 years for a garden with purchased plants to really come into its own. That’s why existing gardens are valuable not only because of the purchase value of the plants but also because of the time gained. That is priceless. So look at what’s growing there, post photos here if you want, before you let a garden landscaper loose there with an excavator and tractor.

Beautiful large plants are often sold on Ebay as well. The sellers let the buyers dig them up. Win-win for everyone. You have no costs and the buyer gets a large plant almost for free.

And now it is giving itself to you, that’s great. Every bee attractiveness plus point is good for the flowers you want to have in your garden. And even the stupidest scrub is helpful against soil erosion. That holds your property together more than a bunch of L-stones.
