Windows and doors could become tight, depending on the desired equipment. We have just under 32K with 6 windows, balcony door, front door, 4m lift-and-slide door (summer 2022) (triple glazing, special color, front door fingerprint with motor lock, RC2 everywhere, concealed hinges, electric aluminum roller shutters, all windows lockable, stainless steel handles)

We are currently involved in a similar project. For us, it is a bungalow with about 100m2 of living space but fully basemented and with a gable roof. The basement is partially a living basement or will get bigger windows. Here roughly are our costs

Gable roof rafter insulation renovation 50k
House insulation 30k
Digging up basement, resealing and insulating approx. 18k
Electrical approx. 25k
Heat pump with underfloor heating (above about 100 and one 65sqm) approx. 57k
New water pipes and bathrooms without tiles approx. 20k, incl. softening
Removing screed approx. 10k
New screed approx. 10k
12 windows (5 of them small in the basement but one over 3m in the living room), one balcony door, two front doors but one with fixed glazing and one front door with fingerprint, all triple glazed, mostly with electric aluminum shutters and fly screens for approx. 38k
Remaining gutting work with disposal, partial own work approx. 15k
Decentralized ventilation approx. 6k but own work
Photovoltaics 12.75kWp and 9.8kWh storage 20k

Thank you very much for the breakdown. If I have roughly calculated correctly, you are planning with ~1,800€/sqm. That would coincide with my estimate. The roof should hopefully be somewhat cheaper with a flat roof, heating roughly fits for the fewer sqm, maybe a bit more for windows and electrics, … It definitely tells me that I am not way off the mark.

That was just a rough overview so far. Additionally, for example, there are still floor coverings that I lay myself except for tiles or doors. Click vinyl about 8k. Bathrooms tile installation including sealing probably about 10k. Doors about 6k. Painting work 15-20k. Suspending ceilings about 5 I think. Etc. My current plan is just under 420k if I exclude the buffer. However, funding will be returned and about 30 are budgeted for the outdoor facilities with terrace and new stairs.

I almost wanted to pin a like on that, but had one more question beforehand. The answer is exactly the crux.

Question to and

If I understand correctly, you are doing a complete renovation.
I am planning such a project as well.
Demolition down to the shell to then rebuild everything anew.

What price per sqm do you estimate for the complete renovation?
I am at a maximum of 2500 euros per sqm.
But that already includes new floors, kitchen, and furniture, etc.

Best regards
