I also like the seating area, but the corner doesn't have to be so thoroughly planned (with fixed planter boxes and presumably fully matured plantings).I actually find them especially cute... says a morning grouch :) However, one must consider the eastern neighboring buildings and make sure that the garage wall does not appear too massive (green it or similar).
Yes, we are uncertain about the pool. Countercurrent system and heat pump are included in the price. But we are still wavering whether to have them at all.With the pool size (6 x 3 is more of a paddling pool if you don't install a countercurrent system), I would perhaps rather consider building a hot tub or jacuzzi. As adults, you get more use out of it all year round.
Yes, the landscape architect is independent. She created the plan according to our ideas (even if she maybe went a bit overboard). I simply looked it up on the internet and called a few, or compared the websites. She works on an hourly basis and then creates and modifies the plan as needed.Sorry for interrupting, may I ask if it is possible to have such an outdoor facility planning just planned and created, and if so, how/where does one find such planners?
We have a very good paver/landscaper, but he does not do visual planning..
As already pointed out above by , we need to see where we can save something in order to get back towards the budget.So the plan is nice. But for a 50% cost overrun during planning, I would not be willing to pay the full price. I would expect that the correction to get back within budget is not to be paid for.
