I am quite confident about the communication with the architect. I won’t go into the polemic about the 100,000... But thanks for the rest of the feedback, I’ll get started on coordinating with the architect.

First of all, a big thank you to everyone for the assessment and comments. That has definitely helped to better understand the topic a little.

It was not meant polemically. With the project sum and the plot size, there is a lot of potential for pattern variation. 10,000 euros can be easily saved without it being painful. Your planning is in the luxury segment. It's hard to give tips on how to save costs without knowing the calculation basis from soil replacement through the technical details of the various surface connections and transitions to the little bistro table in the breakfast nook. What the plan shows can easily cost 250,000. It is possibly also available for 50,000.
If you want to save quickly - cut the breakfast nook. Let the paving continue on the remaining surfaces and equip the garden with planting containers. These can also be later converted into raised beds.

Are the 5000€ for the architect included in the 120k€? If the guideline was 80k€ and the "good one" then comes around with a factor of 1.5, I would be upset. Saving half by cutting items won’t work that easily, more likely a complete revision.

Regarding the pool size (6 x 3 is more like a paddling pool if you don't install a counter-current), I would perhaps consider building a hot tub or Jacuzzi instead. Adults get more use out of it all year round.

I actually find that particularly cute... says me, a morning grouch :) However, one must consider the eastern neighboring buildings and ensure that the garage wall does not appear too massive (greenery or similar).
