Southern Hesse.

Can you possibly give a price indication for individual items so that it is somewhat easier to understand what is cheap?

Doesn't help you. If you remove positions that he offers "too cheaply," he won't remove them one-to-one. And in general, "the larger the scope, the better the price." If you take me "off the market" for half a year, you'll get a better price per unit than if I just come around for service for a day.

Act immediately. Especially if the work done so far is satisfactory

You should find something using the search function here. Not too long ago, I also shared the individual prices from my garden landscaping contractor. Maybe I missed it, but if the 45k also includes the materials, I also consider the price fair. Nevertheless, I would definitely get comparative offers. I made a small Excel sheet and compared three providers and their prices. Some offer based on square meters and others by tons. When you convert that and recalculate how much material you roughly need, you get a feel for whether the prices are reasonable or completely exaggerated. In this way, I identified extreme outlier items and discussed and adjusted them with the garden landscaping contractor. Possibly there was a misunderstanding or, for example, unnecessary exposed concrete was offered. With that, I “optimized” another 2.5k without pressuring or haggling the garden landscaping contractor on the price. In any case, it’s worth asking for a discount for prompt payment at this amount. I noticed many are willing to negotiate about that again. It’s not inappropriate after all.

Hello everyone,

I asked again, the slabs for the terrace are not included, we are supposed to buy them ourselves because you can usually choose them best yourself. That makes sense for now.

However, there is a garden fence included (double rod fence, approx. 15 meters), which I had forgotten to mention above.

So it should roughly fit. I will create an Excel sheet for this.

Does a well make sense for a plot of about 1000sqm? We already have a cistern, 5000l, I am not sure how the two work together (well, obviously well when cistern is empty, that is clear).

If the price is okay, I would definitely go for it. 5000 liters run out quickly if it doesn't rain for a few weeks.
