Build a new building with the equipment of an old building from 1990. I have nothing more to say about that. We also did not renovate for luxury, but the electrical installation will not be touched anymore after 40 years+.

Maybe a quick electrical update from my current apartment (renovation is almost done). I currently have three lighting outlets in the approximately 20 sqm living room (2x ceiling + 1x wall), 8 power outlets + 4 LAN + 2 SAT connections under the TV, as well as 10 power outlets in the corners of the room and by the door. I don't find it excessive, but rather up to date.

For the electrical equipment, one should at least meet the minimum equipment according to DIN 18015-2. For a living room up to 20m², a total of 11 sockets are already planned.
