I trust Stiftung Warentest as a reliable source. And no, my phone does not accompany me all day, and in the evening the WLAN in the house is turned off. Everyone does what they themselves consider right.

I haven't heard anything about that yet. Ok, 40 cm from the pot is usually far enough anyway, I think. The induction stove is incredibly fast and only really hot where the pot is standing. I find that quite good for children who cook along.

I am definitely not a conspiracy theorist, but I have read quite a few warnings regarding induction. It is also "officially" recommended to keep a minimum distance from the running cooktop of 40cm, I believe. It may be that this doesn't matter – or maybe it does. And I don't want to take that risk, especially since family planning is still pending. A ceramic cooktop isn’t that bad or medieval after all.
