Thanks to Zapp, the proven quality of good components is definitely a good argument. At 200€ I wouldn't complain, but as I said, whether fixed or loose, where should the stuff go underneath? Both conditions are acceptable and desired.

The necessary time for everything to dry out is a basic requirement, I am not sealing in any moisture

Someone comes along and wants to put their own mixture of alcohol, oil, and other stuff in their car instead of gasoline because, in the long run, it would be cheaper. They ask if that is possible. Many others say there must be good reasons to use gasoline because no one knows what the homemade solution might cause in two days or three years. Then the person with the idea says that such advice is worthless from people who simply refuse to look beyond their own horizon and be a little flexible. Who is right now? You can certainly pour such a concoction in there, but please don't accuse others of being naysayers. What exactly do you expect?

I thought it was basically understood that I only mean very specific candidates here.
They are not those who think positively along and write a lot, offering comparisons, but those who express a short and concise, usually just a quirky or ambiguous sentence that basically helps no one and behind which there is only a kind of "personal profiling." Usually, such candidates are just waiting for the wrong response, and from that, there's usually always trouble.

Let's take a look at candidate
If you study some of his own posts, you quickly recognize what kind of person is behind it.
He likes to present something he can afford; his house is even being built with outsourced labor. However, he can’t even assemble his Ikea wardrobe himself without breaking something big and expensive... You can read all that...
What business is it of this user what is being discussed here, if he apparently has no clue about DIY at all but still posts his worthless narcissistic opinion? Nothing more came from him, and nothing more is to be expected from this user. And there are far too many like that...

Do you know when Google says: [solved]

I like clicking on that because you can assume you won’t get caught in a personal insult war where eventually no real answers come anymore.

Back to the topic of gasoline.
Someone private has already given it some thought here and is miles ahead of all his mockers and envyers.
With a pyrolysis plant, you can produce your own "DIN fuel" today.
What do you need for that?
Your waste!

So if I start a new topic here and ask,
"I want to produce real DIN fuel from my waste"
What do you think will be laughed at and mocked here?
Everything imaginable incompetence that can only exist in people comes up and completely stifles the thread in its usefulness.

I think it was Kasparov who said, I’m playing against the whole world!
Checkmate in a few moves!
Why?
Because the masses have no special knowledge of chess.
The masses/majority decide the next move, not the few professionals at the edge.

A question: who here has really ever worked with backfill?
So, my only concern is not the sloppy mixture, whether industrially mixed slurry or homemade slurry, but whether there might be deformations during curing. But I will find that out shortly myself because I don’t think I will ever find a brave supporter of my idea here.

But if it works perfectly, and I even have it patented and integrated into the market, then suddenly they all say, I only take this good stuff for my construction site. Taking anything else would be wrong.

But it doesn't. Because it shrinks very unevenly while drying and you will not get a uniform surface.

Hi, I once trained as a draftsman, studied civil engineering with a practical semester, but have been working in IT for almost 30 years, so little and mostly outdated practical experience except with my own construction) Nevertheless (or precisely because I also look beyond the obvious) I would not immediately dismiss every "repurposing". I have already had very good experiences using things for purposes other than those intended. It just has to fit. I believe deformations will be limited with sparingly used "slurry". The screed itself is pressure-resistant. Still: wallpaper paste mainly consists of methylcellulose, additives and water as the main component. And therefore it is an excellent breeding ground for mold. -> then the floor would probably come up due to (mold) growth :-( So it really needs to be completely dried. And who looks inside the floor how the conditions are there after years (moisture from below or above completely excluded? The methylcellulose would then be "reactivated" again. Maybe consider using inorganic adhesive (whatever) as an alternative. Construction chemistry is complex and tricky! Good luck! zapp
