Controlled residential ventilation with cooling: brine geothermal heat pump instead of air-to-water heat pump?

If your new house tends to overheat significantly and you need to keep it cool permanently, then seriously consider a proper air conditioning system +Photovoltaics, at least prepare for it.

The controlled residential ventilation already reduces the heating up somewhat, you won't get much more out of it sensibly. Invest better in proper shading and its control.

Our controlled residential ventilation switched to turbo mode in summer bypass operation for cooling by default. We turned that off because it has no positive effect.

Cooling via air-to-water heat pump is just "nice to have" for us and cold feet for 1-2 days don't bother us either. Especially AFTER the heatwave now in the peak summer, it was nice to get the heat (max. 25° at our place) out of the house faster.

BKA everywhere for cooling is certainly cool, but it mainly makes sense if you can permanently cool passively via a geothermal source. Otherwise, I would prefer air conditioning.

We had also considered only preparing for an air conditioning system and then retrofitting if needed. Ours was then partially told that it makes no sense to have [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] and air conditioning etc., which is why we wanted to inform ourselves what is possible and makes sense. The following options would have to fit:

- Prepare for air conditioning (costs?)
- Cooling via air-water heat pump. Most air-water heat pumps can do this directly and then you just have to make sure that no condensate forms on the floor. So it should hardly be any additional costs and you would have something
- [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] with a register (costs?)

We will shade with [Raffstore] with an automatic control. That should actually keep the house cool. Therefore, we do not want to invest money unnecessarily, but rather have an inexpensive option for just in case.

How is the wall structure and window area facing south?

KS with ETICS. The largest windows are on the west side. On the south side, the following windows (clear dimensions!):

GF: 2x 245W / 70H
FF: Bathroom: 155W / 133H; Office: 190W / 133H
SF: Bathroom: 245W / 70H; Bedroom: 75W / 70H

Ok, it's not particularly much glass, roughly estimated, it could be enough for passive cooling methods.

A brine heat pump is definitely a fine thing. I built the collector myself. Cost under 2,500 euros. That alone pays off due to the higher Bafa subsidy for brine heat pumps with innovation bonus. Nibe (that's the name of the manufacturer of my heat pump) also offers, I think, a coupling for controlled residential ventilation with cooling in summer.

But we don't use that. For me, it was about saving heating costs and I didn't want to set up a "roaring box" for my neighbors.
