stupid example from you, Milambar.

If I plan a wood stove in my single-family home, then I am moving to a higher comfort level than the standard with this extra feature. The controlled residential ventilation also contributes!

Maybe one should mention as an example that both Bentley and Polo have airbags: regardless of the engine and body, in an accident the airbag can protect accident victims from fatal injuries. What are we talking about? 1500-2000 euros... how expensive is the chic "Le Camin" standing in the middle?

Boergi, if your building savings contract requires the DLW, then of course you have bad odds and have to have it installed. I just find it amusing that it is handled differently everywhere else, our building savings contract immediately asked me, when inquiring whether I "need" something like that, what I want to do with it, because it is superfluous. But ok, your building savings contract just makes your rules.

exactly that... if all safety regulations are already met, additional safety is nice but should also be optional. Of course, maybe 2 helmets on the head would protect me better, but one is mandatory. As I said, I find it interesting how BSFs can simply decide arbitrarily.

Who says that it is a nonsense technique? No one has claimed that so far. It is simply about whether it is needed from a technical perspective and the perspective of the [Schornis].

@nordanney and Milambar:

Honestly: the 1500 bucks for the pressure switch annoy me too... we found a nice certified fireplace, not even expensive and with papers included.
Still, I accept the decision of the building savings contract and remain calm, because: maybe it will pay off someday without me knowing it... I pay more for the selection of my tiles...

Even "back then," when seatbelt laws didn’t exist yet (or during the interim when you didn’t have to pay a fine for not wearing it), there were victims... and then the saying "if only one had...")

Just google carbon monoxide poisoning...

Maybe I’m just professionally damaged, so I react a bit more sensitively to the topic or more calmly to the arbitrariness of the building savings contract

Can't you change the [Schorni]? There is now freedom of choice.
