Well, then it was the other one, the Nobelfertighäusler Weberhaus.

Not probably because of 0.1 cent yet. But there have been others who chose the other option because of 1.5 cents. That was probably an extreme isolated case.

I prefer to compare Dacia with Mercedes. They partly have the same Renault engines or the Mercedes rolls directly off the Renault line or is sold as a Smart. So what. These comparisons are just as wrong as they are right. I also don't claim that an FH or a solid house is the same just because the same heating/ventilation/photovoltaic system and equipment is installed.

Smart and Citan are both certainly more Renault than Mercedes, but they in no way reflect the entire model range and are not representative. Drawing a comparison "Dacia versus Mercedes" from this is not exactly serious. Furthermore, there is an oil engine type 607, which is built by Renault according to Daimler's specifications, but is based on a Renault engine. Certainly, it is a load of junk compared to the OM 642, but it is only installed in the absolute budget models à la A 160 CDI. Conclusion: Everyone gets what they are willing to pay for. I want 6 or more cylinders, diesel, and at least 300 hp, but I won’t get that from Dacia for any money in the world.

Well, then we almost agree.

But claiming that something is automatically better just because it is more expensive is just as serious. There's more to it than that. There are entire libraries on price and margin setting.

6 cylinders and 300 HP are also not necessarily the target and price group for Dacia. On the other hand, the 1.5 cDi engine doesn't seem to be that bad to offer something to MB customers in a price segment. And yes, it is really not the same engine as in the Renault either. MB had a few extra requests there.

Sorry for the off-topic and the nitpicking.
Maybe the topic of cars in Germany is too emotional. Perhaps it would be better to argue about Zott cream yogurt for €0.59 vs. no-name cream yogurt for €0.39 (also bottled by Zott)?
They look the same, taste-wise no big difference. And the ingredients? And what insights can be derived from that for a house price?

I just asked the cat about it. So, she does like the cheap one from Penny, it tastes very much like Whiskas, only she prefers the packaging of the original.

So... now it's only about cars :-) But for me, the question is also sufficiently answered.
