Unfortunately, I don't have a trench collector, someone else has to answer that.

By the way, with the Geisha at 5kW, the house also has to be suitable; without a ventilation system, it might be a bit tight. However, with the savings, it is easily co-financed.

We definitely want to allow ourselves a ventilation system with heat recovery. It’s a good thing (energetically but also regarding air quality and no flies/mosquitoes in the house when ventilating etc.). The only concern I have there is how often do you have to clean the ventilation ducts? Or how do I prevent fungi from settling somewhere in the ventilation ducts of the system and then being distributed in the house? Sure, it has a good filter at the intake nozzle. But if there are any dirt/fungi etc. behind the filter somewhere in the ducts? Excluded?

Equip exhaust valves with filters, change filters regularly. If all pipes are inside the insulated casing, no water condenses. A bit of dust gets through, but less than through a window. Pipes can be cleaned if something comes up. Take them apart and have a look.. There is a lot of scaremongering involved.

Can be cleaned as needed. It’s not rocket science. Every 10-15 years, you can run something through there and vacuum out the dust. But there is also professional help available if needed. Air conditioning and ventilation systems in commercial settings are no different and they also operate for decades without mold infestation, etc. You just have to check occasionally and carry out maintenance.

Everything simply has to be maintained and not wait until something happens.

Sounds good.

Did John F. Kennedy already know:
