I have searched a lot on the internet and also found several sites that offer [Baufinanzierungen]. I am still very skeptical because it is a large [Baufinanzierung]. we will soon start building here in Berlin as well (waiting for the approved building permit).

I would be cautious with financing offers over the internet, because it involves highly personal data that you provide there.
I had registered with a credit comparison site, since then my email inbox has looked like a credit offer trash bin (nobody needs that).

Especially for larger financing amounts, it is more advisable to go to a local bank where there is a personal contact person for questions, etc. on site.

There are also plenty of independent financial advisors and brokers. They helped us a lot and were significantly better than I was directly at the banks. These internet things are a plague, I have also tried them, and since then I can’t get rid of the spam. Unfortunately, there are also occasional telephone inquiries.

as far as the internet is concerned, I am also rather skeptical. There are probably a few serious sites on the net. A friend recently found such a site, which helped him a lot.

When I took out a loan two years ago, I naturally went to several banks to get offers. Even at my house bank, they took a little more care of me. Nevertheless, I had to realize that all these bank advisors did not have the necessary expertise. That’s why I went to an independent financial advisor who specializes in home construction loans. I think that bank advisors have to deal with too many "products," which makes good advice difficult, especially when it comes to detailed questions.

There are definitely some good independent financial advisors. Regarding this website from my acquaintance, I can probably give you some information soon.

I finally decided to conclude my construction financing through an internet portal. The process went smoothly and my skepticism was disproved. In the end, you do have a personal conversation with an advisor who finds you the offer with the best construction loan interest rate. On the internet, only the key data is recorded. The advisor was also very well informed. Sure, he has to be as an expert, but only a few really know their stuff and have an informative answer to every question. Whether it’s follow-up financing or a policy loan. So now I’m super happy that I’ve arranged the construction financing.
