You just have to ask yourself what it's about. 1. Do you not want to break the law? 2. Do you want to avoid trouble? 3. Do you want to be sensible and show social responsibility? Depending on that, there are probably different answers: 1. I'm not a lawyer, presumably there are legal reasons, basic law etc., and knowing Germany, certainly someone will sue all the way to the Federal Court of Justice afterwards. 2. Who's going to notice that, or where there's no plaintiff there’s no judge. 3. In my opinion, that should be the standard, and thus it means avoiding everything possible. And in my opinion, that includes most things.

I read today that there were reports to the police over the weekend, from neighbors (I think), that a group (10 people or so) was partying together in a private apartment. That was then broken up. So from the event it seems that one's own apartment is no longer sacrosanct... And it would also contradict the spirit of the contact restrictions. So that's right.

Building with a buddy OR the wife would probably be allowed. In fact, I also find it acceptable, especially if the construction is open.

Basically, the responsibility remains with each individual for themselves and others. Otherwise, it certainly depends on the general orders. In one district I am currently building, and in another I am not. In the local stronghold ([kreisfreie Stadt in der Mitte Deutschlands]) only necessary construction work is carried out. However, this is done with the required number of employees and with special care and caution.

Which federal state or district is it about? Even though the basics have been standardized, there may also be stricter regulations depending on the region/[federal state].
