You should not connect anything there! This should definitely be done by a qualified electrician, who should also professionally take care of the fuse box right away.

What a botch! Hopefully no electrician connects anything there. Using a green/yellow wire as a live conductor is criminal and actually no longer negligent but intentional. The whole thing is life-threatening.

Really a well-meaning piece of advice: I personally do almost everything myself and also trust my abilities a lot. Fundamentally, it's not rocket science to equip a fuse box. And yes, you have equipment. But: what has been done so far is absolutely highly botched! It is extremely life-threatening. If you don't even know how to connect and operate a circuit breaker, then that is simply a task for the electrician.

By the way: Car Hi-Fi with 12V is not even remotely a qualification for electrical work. That made me smile.

That made me laugh at first as well.

And after I saw the pictures with the dangerous flying setup, it was clear: call in an electrician.

For small things like that, I would always post it on MyHammer and let the cheapest come.

My guess is: This will be more expensive because new materials are also required. An electrician will certainly want to replace at least the "box," because he won't be able to fix it properly otherwise. To my knowledge, an electrician is always liable for the "entire system," even if he only changes minor things. At least that's how I understood the electricians who declined a renovation of my electrical system in the old building.

Unfortunately, this probably leads to extensive inspections (and then changes) in such situations.

The little cables look very thin; depending on the length of the wiring, those might have to be replaced as well. Underground cable? UV-resistant cable above ground in a protective conduit? The botched work will just continue elsewhere... No matter how cheap the place is/was, have it done properly and safely!!! A human life is very difficult to put a price on!

Hello

I also think that no electrician will touch this.
Either the box is replaced. You already have the DIN rail, fuses, and RCD.
Or you undo everything first and rewire. You have some knowledge, as you say. But continuing with this botched job is pointless.
