What I wanted to say is.. It’s not primarily about saving energy for me. My problem is that I haven’t slept a wink for two nights because this room climate is really bothering me.... 20 degrees air temperature, outside the blanket you freeze endlessly and underneath I’m sweating like crazy. None of this makes sense, does it?

Exactly the opposite. Warm air takes up more moisture. So: heat and ventilate. Good luck.

No, that was not meant sarcastically... that's just how it is at 20 degrees, you can hardly air out anything and the moisture stays inside... I realize that you actually need/want different temperatures for sleeping... but if you can't sleep because the room is too humid, then you have no choice but to turn up the heating and air out the room frequently during the day to get the moisture out of the building...

Ventilate by opening the windows fully several times a day for 5-10 minutes. The moisture must get out!

You don't have a ventilation system?!

Best regards, Yvonne

Morning,

Yes, it does. It's called high humidity. As mentioned, that's completely normal at the beginning. Heat strongly and ventilate and everything will be fine.

Regards,

Andreas

Many thanks ☺... really many nice people here... so I will try it again like that and hope that this is actually the reason for the cold. But I still have one question about that... according to the hygrometer, the humidity in the room is only a max of 55-60%... isn't that actually normal? Or is the moisture bound in some other way? I have now also heard from an energy consultant who said it could be due to cold air falling. So warm air hits a "cold" window and "cold" wall and then sinks as "cold" air, which could then be perceived as "cold" despite 21 degrees air temperature.... however, I can hardly imagine that with triple glazing and wall insulation. Besides, the climate during the day is quite okay... it only gets bad at night.
