Hi,
so... just wanted to give a quick update. With all the nice tips here (ventilation and heating) I have now achieved a permanent humidity of max. 45%. I always heated well (sometimes up to 23 degrees in the bedroom). I didn’t ventilate for one day just to see what would happen. Even then, the humidity did not rise above 45%. What completely irritates me now is the following: The bedding in my bedroom feels clammy, although the humidity is 43% at 21 degrees. When I sleep, I start to sweat after a short time. I mean, nobody needs 21 degrees to sleep. 18 degrees are more than enough. But why does the bedding seem (or is) clammy at these values?
It’s a bit jokingly meant, but maybe you’re also going through menopause? Maybe you should actually tweak something about your sleeping habits? Thinner blanket, leave the window open, swap the thick terry pajamas for a thin shirt, call the Feng Shui consultant... no idea
