Sorry for the stupid question, but have you already thought about using a thinner duvet?

55 - 60% I find rather a lot

I also find the humidity still too high. We always have about 40-48% and around 22 degrees in the house. I would heat more and really ventilate properly several times a day.

Best regards

When you are new to the house, I can understand the feeling of not wanting to heat too much. I have also sometimes felt that way in rented apartments in the past. You don't know how the heating costs will turn out and prefer to heat a little less rather than too much. But I have moved away from that again. A comfortable, not too cold room climate and regular ventilation are really important.

Dear TE,

say goodbye to the idea of having a temperature difference of 3 or 4 degrees between the living room and the bedroom in your house.

That only works with an extreme heat source in one room or an open window in the other room.

Given the current outside temperatures, I recommend turning up the heating and when you reach 22 or 23 degrees, ventilate crosswise... ideally 8-10 times a day. Otherwise, do what you can. You need to get the place dry... from now until after Easter... 2018. In summer you won’t get the moisture out, so use every cool and dry day for that.

properly insulated, passive house... but no ventilation... I would be very afraid of eventually finding mold again in the corners...

I have also measured temperature fluctuations of over 4 degrees with closed temperatures.

No. It works. Even with an open gallery in front of the bedroom, we have downstairs e.g. 24°C in the living room, and 19-20°C in the bedroom. Thanks to the door and... room thermostat. Whoever - again and again - has claimed otherwise here was still in the construction phase and hadn't arrived at actual living. That needs to be said now!

Best regards, Yvonne
