I don’t know what you want from me. That’s why I don’t need any more. Let’s just leave it, okay? I wish you a nice weekend, sleeping in will surely do us both good.

Can they also overlap? For example, if I attach one to our house wall and one to the neighbor’s wall and then seal the seam?

Connecting sheets that are attached to two different components, sealing the seam watertight, and hoping that it stays sealed for more than a few months is, I think, illusory.

If a proper roof or possibly a staggered roof with a gutter underneath is not possible, you might consider painting the unplastered area with a sealant (Remmers MB2K+ or similar). The gap is too small for plastering, but maybe a rollable/paintable sealant could be applied?

If so, you could visually close the gap at the front.

So mainly I want to protect the unplastered bricks from rain exposure. If the rollable sealant works, with your mentioned example Remmers, that would actually be sufficient for me. It does not need to be plastered there for visual reasons either. The gap is also not noticeable. I just need protection for the bricks. I will take a look at it. Thanks.

The sheet metal comes to your house and only lies on the neighbor's roof. However, you must clarify this beforehand.

No hit again - okay, then I'll reveal it now:
the right insight would have been, you illustrated your question from further perspectives (floor plan, aerial view) and would have added the crazy move of answering the open questions (but that would of course only be necessary for the hard-working star).
I always sleep in, and my weekend is still ongoing (that's called "bridge days").

Thank you for the explanation. I'll take that with me. Thank you.
