Sorry, I can only post pictures of the outside tomorrow. The problem is two vertical iron beams on the outside that cannot be removed and also iron beams above the door. The old door was built more "around" it. I will take more photos tomorrow and upload them. The roller shutter box will be removed, there will be new external venetian blinds. : That was my plan, that's how I wanted to do it.

Then you probably have no other choice. Given the circumstances, I wouldn’t have chosen a lift-and-slide door, but I understand that one wants to have it. Please show some pictures from outside. Thanks.

If the wall is built flush with drywall profiles, it was also done in our existing building, but for other reasons it works great!

For your information, we covered the door with drywall and insulated it with rock wool. We did it ourselves and I am satisfied with the result.
