Yes, that is correct. Apparently, it is an Ecocirc Pro, which comes in various versions, including with a mechanical timer. However, this can be disabled (as in the present case) and the pump is then only controlled by the heating system.

But the electrical connection is definitely correct, and there are no other settings on the heating system that could prevent circulation or, conversely, start independently of the electronic schedule?

Are you actually referring to heating or hot water? The 2nd picture relates to hot water.

Is the manual clock connected to the heating output or to the hot water?

Well, I find that already a strange installation.
Who would install a manual timer switch or a circulation pump with a manual timer switch on a heater that can digitally control the circulation itself?
Is this a Novelan heat pump?
My control system looks the same way.
Of course, it could be that the circulation pump doesn't work at all.
That happens quite often when those things don't run for a long time – then they tend to calcify.

Alternatively, you can check how long your circulation times are set in the heating control.
Mine, for example, are set so that the pump runs for 5 minutes and then takes a 30-minute break.
Maybe that's set incorrectly.

But generally, I would probably look for a different installer...

It might be a novelty, but usually what is installed is whatever is available at the moment, if nothing else is desired or explicitly ordered. Even a state-of-the-art pump can still have a mechanical timer attached. Most likely the version was simply cheaper.

Yes, we have Novelan. The heating engineer was here this morning, he said that we should observe it and maybe the circulation pump is broken. He adjusted one or two things but said very little. My questions were not answered… Totally annoying. I suspect the pump is indeed broken. Let’s wait and see.

If you turn on the pump manually, you should hear/feel whether it is running. What are you waiting for?
