We have a central vacuum system for the second time and I am absolutely convinced of it. In the first house we had a Fawa central vacuum and in the second it was a Fawa central vacuum again. We also have the vacuum robot from them, which empties itself directly through the vacuum system. It can also mop if you change the attachment, but I have never done that. I am totally convinced by the suction power of the central vacuum, in my experience no other vacuum comes close. I have a Vorwerk wet vacuum, which I actually only use for damp mopping the parquet, I am absolutely not satisfied with the suction power in comparison. And whether I carry the vacuum back and forth or the hose from the central vacuum, it makes no difference to me. I still have a conventional vacuum cleaner in the basement, which we bought for the interim apartment, but it is not used at all because I find the other one more practical and better. But everyone has their own experiences and habits.

Which Fewa model do you have? I have an old model where a dust container with about a 10l capacity is unhooked for emptying. Inside, over the suction inlet, there's a filter sock that is washable. I find that easy to handle and would like to keep it.

Yes, that's how it was with our old one too and with the new one as well, just a bit fancier. We have one from the Platinum series, but I don't remember exactly which.
With the Robo 2.0 including a suction unit and charging station.

What does something like that cost together with the Robo?

I have a MEDION robot, I only empty the dustbin every few months... And I have the absolute worst case: a white cat...
Honestly, I wouldn't want to vacuum 200 sqm manually, my time is too precious for that... it's always clean here, anyone can come over at any time without me having to worry or stepping through cat hair...

The stairs and corners with the cordless vacuum once a week...

But if you like vacuuming; I don't want to take away your hobby (-:

My girlfriend also got rid of her robot: it interferes with the alarm system....
