Choice of window and roller shutter color

It should ultimately mean this. Either you dare the experiment, which in the end you won’t like. Or you play it safe with the "boring" arrangement.

You are building an entire house, of which you only have drawings and animations, and you think that the exterior color of the windows, which you don’t even see yourself while you are inside the house, is an experiment? LOL

Trust your feeling also with the windows.

So whether basalt or anthracite – they almost look the same, don't they? Does it actually look quite different then?

Totally different. Basalt is noticeably lighter. Difference like orange to red.

But the house will probably still look similar as long as it is plastered boringly white and has a black roof. I think it depends much more on the rest of the house facade and design (including the windows, for example whether they have muntins or not) of the same, rather than on the color of the windows.

I give two tips:
1. reduce, as much as you can, the plastic in the house
2. reduce, as much as you can, the different wood looks and grain/textures.

Neither really adds value.

I actually didn't want to go into it anymore.... but you're talking about taste again! There is design as well as technique. For both, there are basic rules. These are mentioned and pointed out by me. Nothing more and nothing less. And every time you turn it into "taste" :p:cool:
