Hello everyone, we have a Vallox system 350 SC. I have a few questions about the setting options. Unfortunately, the hotline cannot help me. Consulting with the field service technician also did not bring any results. Apparently, he knows even less about the device than I do.

Does anyone of you have a Vallox device and can tell me if it has a bypass installed and if it is controlled automatically? When I access the device, it shows at the bottom that I can turn the bypass on and off. It is currently set to on. What surprises me, however, is the following: If I look at the supply air, the room air, and the exhaust air, I assume that the bypass is not working. When we had 33 degrees, temperatures of 27 degrees were led into the house during the day. Is that due to the bypass dropping from 33 to 27 degrees? Or is that simply due to the normal heat recovery?

And what does the 15° temperature setting mean in the different ventilation modes? I can set the controller from 5 to 25°. What effect does this have?

Does the (existing?) bypass have to be deactivated in winter? Many thanks for your feedback

The device should have a bypass. And it should also be automatically controlled. That is what the temperature setting is for. At a setting of 15 degrees, the device tries to reach 15 degrees. Doesn't sound particularly reasonable. What exactly is your problem with the device?

I am basically satisfied with the device. However, I did not know what the temperature setting does. So far, the temperature of the supply air has never been anywhere near the range of 15 degrees (which, as I have now heard, is not sensible either). Even at 0 degrees outside. Since it was the preset temperature, I left it as it was but always wondered what it does.

In addition, I asked here because I would like to introduce less warm air in the midsummer and what options there are for that. For example, off during the day and shock ventilation at night or something like that.

Yes, at 0 degrees (and even significantly earlier) the bypass closes again to prevent condensation on the pipes. So there are only a few moments when it is active. That is precisely the goal, which is then tried to be achieved taking other parameters into account. That is not necessary. In heat, it runs over the heat exchanger. As a result, "the cold" is correspondingly recovered. However, the effects are all relatively small. Due to the low air volume, only a minimal temperature change is achieved.

We have a Vallox 350 MV. Ours has a bypass and controls it automatically. Do you have the device on the network? I find that you can see everything much better on the web interface. You shouldn't take our room air temperature in the picture too seriously. The ventilation is located in the basement, which is part of the thermal envelope but has no ventilation or air conditioning. The air conditioning is currently running in the living areas. When you go down to the basement, you might think you've changed continents.

Yes, I have exactly this interface as well. What temperature setting do you have in ventilation mode? Was 15 degrees preset for you as well? Unfortunately, I don’t have a network connection near the device, so I can only access the interface very poorly.
