Capital planning before commencing construction

About the material: My experience is that when ordering as a private customer at a building materials dealer and having your status upgraded to professional customer, the material is at most 5-10% more expensive than for a specialist company. Different are the conditions, for example at Hochtief – they naturally bypass the distribution network of the building materials dealers and partly have their own companies that manufacture products for them or in which they are involved. Then the price per square meter of brick or whatever is not 40€, but 25€.

I have neither children nor other obligations and live with my parents, so no stress if it takes longer. : And whether I suffer damage in 25 years because I worked hard for 2 years, I seriously doubt that.

Previously you wrote that due to an accident a wheelchair might be necessary for you in the future – and now physically demanding work is no problem? Otherwise, if this thread is really meant seriously – just do it.

Yes, due to a prosthesis which works without complaints but cannot be changed unlimited times, it may happen to me in old age to be sitting in a wheelchair.
