Can Ikea Faktum and Metod base cabinets be combined?

Hello dear ones! I have already read through several pages, but somehow I can’t find the right answer to my question. In 2011, we bought additional base cabinets for an already existing single kitchen Faktum. That was no problem, neither in depth nor in height. Now we are moving and need a corner cabinet (the one with the carousel) and a 40 cm cabinet to really make optimal use of the kitchen. This time the countertop won’t be from Ikea, so we don’t have to worry about the depth. But what does it look like in general? Can I just buy the 2 cabinets additionally or can the Metod cabinets be installed in the already existing kitchen? Matching fronts are not given anyway, we would simply take plain white (no high gloss or texture or similar). I hope you can help us with this, it should actually start next week and I would rather not use the reorder service. The delivery time is forever and the costs are also not exactly low. The Metod base cabinets are 80cm high including feet and countertop. The Faktum ones are only 70cm, so you may need new feet and trims for the Faktum cabinets (depending on your current working height) to get them to the same height as the Metod. Whether that looks good is another question.

I don't know what your sentence regarding delivery times in the [Faktum purchase] is based on. I ordered something there on 23.2., it was delivered (by freight forwarder) on 1.3.

As for the countertop depth: Especially if you don't get it from Ikea but want to mount it on Ikea base cabinets, you have to pay attention to the depth...

If a plinth panel is not ordered at the same time, the shipping costs are not that high. It can be cheaper to split an order into two package-ready orders and then only pay €6.90 shipping costs each.
In Hanau, leftover stock of 40 cm wide cabinets was sold off a month ago. I did not know that some furniture stores still had FAKTUM parts in stock. It can't hurt to ask.
FAKTUM with standard legs height: 86 cm, METOD: 88 cm
FAKTUM cabinet depth: 58 cm. METOD: 59 cm

Small addendum: even parcels suitable for shipping are sometimes delivered by freight forwarder (this was the case for me). No additional costs are incurred, but someone must be at home to receive the shipment.
