First of all, I mentally can't quite keep up with why the finishing of the shell into a habitable house should start right in the basement.
Gluing drywall is a different level than screwing drywall onto an already balanced substructure. Aside from that, following the motto "temporarily finished - the nice part comes later," the concrete wall is already ready for painting or wallpapering and accordingly unnecessary to prepare it with drywall as a mere "coating." From a living climate perspective, plaster is more suitable; drywall is passive in all qualities when it comes to moisture regulation. In my opinion, the measure of covering the concrete wall with a drywall layer stands undecided somewhere between "naive" and "pointless."
